Want to be a public speaker? Let me clue you in on one of the secrets of the trade that most people don’t talk about.
Often, people book me to speak. When they do, I give them my rider. This is the list of the things I’ll need to really knock it out of the part at the event. Things like a bottle of water, a table, and … the very top of Treebeard’s head. Or a glowing crown of antlers.
Either or really. It’s a toss up. It depends mostly on if you have a guy who specializes in those things in your local community.
But as you can clearly see in this photo, taken by Bridget Purdy today at BigStuf Camps, I never do public speaking events without one and neither should you.
